J.J. Robbins writes from a vivid imagination in hopes to create a compelling narrative style. Raised in the deserts of Southern Arizona and now flourishing among the majestic landscapes of Colorado, Robbins continues to be inspired by nature and music for her work.  Her passion for nature, history, and storytelling is the foundation through her work. Her style is has been called gothic or dark fantasy. Her work has been classified as Young Adult reading. 

At home she is a single mother of four kids, with two still at home. She currently is working with a rural Park and Recreation District is in the process of getting her MA in Professional Creative Writing from Denver University. She loves living in the rural area of Kiowa Colorado and spending time gardening when not writing or playing D&D with her kids.

What inspires you to write? "What makes you itch to pull out that keyboard

"What makes you itch to pull out that keyboard and type away? Or to go "old school" and pull out a pen and paper?"
